More commonly known as the Roti Island Snake-necked Turtle or just the Rote Snake-necked Turtle, this subspecies of Chelodina (Chelodina) mccordi is native to Indonesia. It has the same specific epithet twice because it is the type species (type subspecies?) for the subspecies. In other words, this species group is directly linked to this subspecies of turtle; so, if there are any revisions, the species group will stay constant with this subspecies. Later I will add their SCL, synonymy, holotype, type location, IUCN listing, and images!
